With a classic cut, this cotton 50s dress has that vintage look and full circle swing skirt which looks great with a Hell Bunny 25" petticoat underneath. As with all Hell Bunny dresses, an alternative twist on a classic style makes this dress something special. The print on the dress has a Japanese theme with an intricate and dark geisha design incorporating skulls, flowers, vipers and butterflies on a black background.
The halterneck ties are long and tie into a large bow around the neck. The back of the dress has a smocked elastic panel and zip giving plenty of room whilst hugging your body. A thick black belt with a chunky buckle breaks the pattern well around the waist and allows for extra adjustment.

It fits like a dream, the old style of hell bunny 50's dresses never used to have any elastic in the back which made them often a slightly tight fit. I read the reviews here and they recomended I go a size down and went for a size 14 (L). I'm glad I did! It's a lovely fit, figure hugging without being tight and the belt adds definition to my waist.
Lovely with or without a petticoat and the pattern is quirky and very unique.
Amazing and so forgiving could have gone with a smaller size but am very happy! Especially for someone with big boobs :) must have dresses!

This dress is gorgeous and absolutely worth the money. Hell Bunny design some really great, funky prints - and this one, coupled with the 50s style dress, make this dress perfect for anyone who wants a vintage style with a modern/alternative edge. I bought this for a wedding, and I've never felt so glamorous :)
The fabric of the dress is really comfortable. If you're wavering between sizes, go for the smaller. The entire back panel is smocked elastic and super-stretchy. Being a bit busty I opted for the Large and discovered (pleasantly) that this was far too large and actually hung off me, and had to exchange it for the Medium (thanks to SoHo customer service for making this a super speedy and easy process!).
Without the petticoat this is still a lovely dress, but for that super-sexy 50s silhouette, extra drama and a more nighttime-glamour look, I would definitely recommend getting the petticoat to go under it. The bigger skirt you get from the petticoat helps to make your waist look smaller by comparison ;)
