Since April 1st 1960 Dr Martens have brought to the world probably the most iconic shoe know to man. A shoe made almost entirely out of air, originally worn by working men and women and later adopted by the skinhead movement, the 1460 boot became a fashion statement of an alternative movement.
Today these boots remain unbelievably comfortable, durable yet 50 years on they are still a badge of defiance to the norm, symbolising still the stylish alternative movement within Europe and the world.
